Knowledge, in a form that carries.
Into something that moves people. Into strength for the company.
Ken Global Studio works on our clients’ problems with both wheels turning: consulting and creative.
You can do just about anything, can’t you.
It is something I have been told more than once since going independent. I take it as a compliment, and at the same time as a piece of homework.
At Recruit I worked on bringing Studysapuri into schools and on careers talks, and learned how to move things forward by bringing a lot of people along. At KPMG Consulting, through DX, BPR and market research projects, I learned how to organize a complicated problem and build a business backwards from the goal.
At the same time, my grandfather painted and my father was an editor at a publishing house, so I grew up with creative work, books and magazines close at hand. For me, thinking and making — logic and sensibility — were never separate things.
Strategy and execution. Logic and feeling. Business and creative.
Rather than choosing one side, fill the gap between them and turn it into a single force. That is why I founded Ken Global Studio in January 2025.
A year and a half on, we are increasingly asked to take on the whole arc with one team: designing the concept and the project, bringing the stakeholders in, producing the content, planning and running the event, and operating what comes after. We also work across a company’s head office in Japan and its bases overseas, supporting projects in both Japanese and English.
More than ten members and partners now share our vision and take part in what KGS does. Consultants, creators who understand business, and business people with a feel for creative work — each with a different specialism.
As the problems companies face grow more complex, no single field of expertise solves them alone. So we cross the lines between consulting, internal media, film production and events, and combine whatever specialisms the problem calls for.
Because we are small, we decide quickly and stay with the work from the plan through to delivery. That is how KGS works.
What we care about most is turning the knowledge sleeping inside a company or an organization into a form that carries.
As people move between jobs and ways of working multiply, keeping each person’s experience and insight inside the organization — and passing it on to the next generation — matters more and more. Yet however good an experience or an idea may be, left as it is it stays with only a few people.
Organize the intent behind it, design the story, and edit it into film, articles, events, design and systems. That is how knowledge travels from person to person, and how new action and new attempts begin.
What we want to build is not simply a way to pass information along.
- Through internal media, you learn what your colleagues do and what they care about.
- Through film, you notice what the company and the business could become.
- Through events, people meet people, and new ideas come out of it.
Turning knowledge into a form that carries does more than make work efficient. We believe it raises engagement and brings energy and excitement into an organization.
KGS works with you to find the value already inside your company, turn it into a form that carries, and stay with you until people and the organization start moving. Rather than delivering a one-off output and leaving, we look ahead to how it will be run and how far it will spread, and grow it into a knowledge asset that stays with the company.
And beyond results, we want to be a team that the clients and colleagues we work with are glad to have worked with. Think sharply, deal honestly, and see it through to the end. We build that up one piece of work at a time.
Let us give the knowledge sleeping inside you a form that carries.
Come and make the moment it moves people and organizations, with us.
